♡ wandering thoughts ♡

I finally started (properly) learning Japanese since the beginning of the year. I feel like I'm close to memorizing Hiragana ^^ It was intimidating to start, but now that I'm getting the hang of it, I can actually read some super simple words now!

I finally got to try some non red40 hot cheetos (they replaced it with Paprika coloring.) Tell me why it actually tastes WAY better this way! Folks claim that red40 doesn't have a taste but I swear there's a difference between the two, at least in this case. They could have easily been doing this from the start but you know how it is here -_-;

I caught a cold from a friend -3- Nothing serious, thankfully. I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day (if you celebrate.) Mike and I stayed home and I made us curry for dinner! I made it special by shaping the rice to look like a heart :3

February already? January felt simultaneously sluggish yet quick. Anywho, I went to IKEA yesterday and had a nice meatball meat :3 I want to do some updates on the site this week so stay tuned!!

On the weekends, I've been playing a lot of VRChat. Mainly to explore worlds as I'm too shy to actually talk with people on there. Though even if I wasn't, a lot of the people on there can be quite... chaotic, to say the least (¬_¬ )

We're all prepped for the snowstorm that's supposed to happen tomorrow O: I'm hearing a lot of mixed reports on how much snow we're getting exactly. As long as there are no power outages, we should be good

It's finally snowing outside ^_^ Yay!!! I love snow!!

When I get back from vacation, I want to write a new diary entry! It's been too long!!

Wow it's been a while since I last posted an entry here! Since last week, I've been visiting my family back in my home state. I return home soon though! I want to do a fun, festive themed update for the site when I return ^^

Last night, I went bowling for thr first time in years. I'm not very good but it was a lot of fun c: Btw, the side effects from the vaccines aren't nearly as bad as last time. Just a sore arm and fatigue. Much better than a fever and chills. Unrelated pic attached. I just like the walking bears c:

Getting my updated COVID and flu shot today :T Last time I got it, my got a mild fever and kept fluctuating between being too hot and too cold (just for a day.) Hopefully, I won't have as bad of a reaction this time around -.-;

Goldenberries are yummy :3 No one else in the house likes them so whenever we have them in the fridge, I get them all to myself!!

Got to explain to my bestie why I like the Burmy line a lot (preferably female ones) and how cool bagworms are!!! I love bagworms!!!

Quite a productive day. I went to a doctors appointment, then did some shopping downtown. Ended it off by bringing dan dan noodles home for dinner. It was soooo good ^w^

I've been pooped ever since the Halloween night. Spent the weekend recouping at home. Daylights Savings time ending hasn't been helping either. I hate when the sun sets earlier in the day!!! Gonna try to push myself to run an errand and get back on track with work. It's not as big of a workload as before so hopefully it won't take as long. Then I can resume proper work on the site again (´-ω-`)

Halloween was fun! We gave handed out candy to trick-or-treaters, then went to a Halloween party later that evening. I dressed up as Velma!

I forgot how cute Salamence is. It was my favorite dragon Pokemon for years until the Dreepy line came along. While it's sadly been pushed down to a close second, I still love it with all my heart.

Went to Round One with Mike today. Someone complimented my "aesthetic" and also the Dejiko charm I have on my purse ( ´ ▽ ` )

I thought I was finally just about caught up with freelance work but I still have more to do. I'm grateful for the work and opportunities, of course. However, I was hoping to do some more personal projects.

Of course right after I post my site button, I notice everything wrong with it -_-; Ah well it's my first time making one I guess I shouldn't be too hard on myself. Also wow it's already October o.o

I wanna make a site button soon! I have ideas for the button itself I just gotta figure out how to implement it nicely.

Having a lot of fun with Sonic Racing Crossworlds >w< I like playing as Charmy and Zavok. Also I've been feeling much better ^_^ Almost 100% not sick

I wanna make tostadas this week. Also I think it would be cool to add food photos to the Photo Album section of my site when I finally get around to it.

So close to finally getting caught up on my commissions/work projects. I'm grateful for the work, but I also wish I had more time to work on personal drawings >.<

While I didn't center it yet, I atleast made the windows larger which I wanted to do too :b Once I get this all figured out I'll have some actual thoughts put here instead of page updates. Also please ignore the time I posted this >_>;;
